A movie has been made on C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" and it will soon be showing in theaters worldwide. I can't wait to watch the movie and see if it's good or not.

I have read all seven books in the Chronicles of Narnia series... and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is the second book. I've collected all the other books, and, personally, I like the books 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 better. I didn't like books 1 and 7 much, but it comes with the package and both were still fascinating nonetheless.

I don't know the actors who will play Lucy, Peter, Susan and Edmund, but I'm sure they'll be great.

It was said that J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis sat down and said they'd write famous book series and so Tolkien had The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and Lewis had the Chronicles of Narnia. They were close friends. :) and yes, their books are indeed famous series that were turned into movies and read and watched by many. :)

Oh well, I'm so sleepy now, I guess I'll have to turn in. :)

I watched this show at the Lifestyle channel the other night featuring the royal children of Europe. Of course, the main reason why I watched the show was to see Prince William on TV... he is awfully cute.

Anyway, they also showed Princess Charlotte Grimaldi of Monaco, and I think she's the perfect princess bride for Prince William.... as in seriously!! hehehehe :) I'm, like, matchmaking here... but I think they would look good together. Princess Charlotte loves horses and she's even competed in some events, and she has an amazing dress sense. She's even more beautiful than her grandmother, Grace Kelly.

I haven't gone home to Ormoc for quite some time, so nobody can fault me for being very excited that I will be spending Christmas at my hometown this holiday season. I have so many things to do, so many presents to buy and so many things to prepare that it seems like I don't have time for anything anymore these days.






This picture was taken in Ormoc two Christmases ago. It's a picture of me (in the center) with my brother and sister.



I am currently listening to the Miss Saigon musical soundtrack. And even if I've listened to this record for like a hundred times, it never fails to move me. A really tragic love story, I wish I can see this musical live one day. The show was brought to Manila a few years back, but I wasn't able to watch it, much to my dismay and disappointment. Of course I would also like to watch Madame Butterfly, Puccini's opera in which this musical is based. Both have the same plot... well, almost, but the countries were different. The girl in Miss Saigon was from Vietnam and the girl from Madame Butterfly was from Japan. I read somewhere that Schonberg said his music for Miss Saigon was inspired by a picture of this Vietnamese mother holding the hand of her half-Vietnamese, half-American daughter at the airport... and the mother had to let the daughter go because her life would be better in America where the father is. It was just so sad. I saw the picture and it was really touching. The picture was surrounded with an air of hopelessness.

Feeling hopeless in whatever situation is something I never want to feel. I am the most positive person I know and I will never let failure defeat or crush my spirit.
