I hadn't played Pacman in a lloooonnnnggg time!! I think the last time I played it was when I was in sixth grade and I was only 12. hahaha :) a lifetime ago. Anyway, I came across this site that has this Pacman game on it and I felt nostalgic. To those who haven't tried it yet, or to those who felt like reliving their youth, here's the site address: www.bennychow.com/pacman go and have fun!! :) ciao!!! I watched the movie adaptation of the book "Memoirs of Geisha" with my cousin, Nica, last Sunday, and I was sorely disappointed with it. They changed a big portion of the book---not that most screen adaptations don't do that---but this one's just different... in a really bad way. I liked the first few chapters in the book... and the screenwriter took that out. Too bad! But I liked Michelle Yeoh and her presence in that movie made up for it. She still looks really stunning, even at her age. Time, 6:38 pm

I have always wanted to visit France... see what it's like. I have always been curious about its history ever since I read Iris Johansen's "Storm Winds" (the second book in her Wind Dancer trilogy) when I was thirteen years old. That book was set in France during the French revolution and I found it... intriguing, fascinating. And since then... I've read whatever French history book I could get my hands on (next on my list is Russia... I've wanted to see it after I've read about Tsar Nicholas II's history)!!! Recently, I finally got to visit the country of my dreams... and it was as wonderful as I expected it to be... and what's more, I got to visit it on the week of my birthday. It was the best birthday gift my parents gave me... I very much appreciated it! At the Jardin des Tuileries... I walked through there on my way to Le Musee du Louvre! It was beautiful... the weather was perfect! Having coffee with my French pal, Nathalie, in one of the cafes near Invalides. In Bordeaux. Buildings there are as old and as beautiful as the ones in Paris. Every devout Catholic's dream is to visit Lourdes. It was a very solemn place... quiet but lovely. |
